We are currently recruiting Service Engineers who have previous experience working with pneumatic and hydraulic equipment for the maintenance of machinery used in railway development and maintenance.
The main purpose of this role is to provide workshop and field repairs to all types of electronic and electro
mechanical equipments.
Main Responsibilities:
- To carryout repairs as requested to all machines and equipment
- To Modify items / systems on all machines and equipment
- To commission new and modified / repaired machines and equipment
- To deal with the repairs and modification of machine based systems
- To carry out repairs, overhaul modifications to electrical components, systems and include
computers, PCB's and electro mechanical equipment
- To work analog and electro mechanical devices and their interface with digital systems
- To be able to work as a member of a team or on own initiative
- To complete all required record keeping in a timely and accurate manner
- To carry out work in a timely and professional manner
- Will be required to work anywhere in the UK and also abroad when necessary
- To supply telephone assistance and site attendance to assist other departments outside
of normal working hours as part of the On Call roster as required.
- To undertake any other tasks, from time to time as required by the Service Manager
commensurate with the salary of the post.
