Company Information
A Tier 1 main contractor for Network Rail.

To be suitable for the position you must have
- Minimum of 10 years' experience in the design of Civil Engineering structures.
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in assessment and design, ideally of railway bridges.
- A degree in Civil/Structural Engineering or other relevant subject.
- Bea Chartered Engineer (CEng) or an Incorporated IEng
- Any Experience in rail, earthworks, drainage and highways, with related experience of working with Network Rail, Transport for London, Environment Agency and Canal & River Trust.

Although not essential it would also be advantageous if you have
Been signed of as a Network Rail Design/Civils CRE

Role Information
- Leading the technical aspects of engineering projects in addition to programming, resource allocation, budgetary control, managing customer satisfaction, reviews, coaching and recruitment.
- Technical guidance and advice to team members on engineering solutions,
- Review and approve design deliverables.
- Promotion of positive SHEA behaviours.
- Lead Design representative at meetings
- Ensure work is delivered within the team's financial, quality and programme targets.
- Promote safe working practices in all areas.
- Mentor and coach team members
