My client is looking for a skilled OLE Assistant for their York location.
They are now looking to recruit an Assistant and /or a Design Engineer (OLE) with UK rail experience, to be engaged upon a portfolio of rail OLE schemes.

They have an enviable reputation in the delivery of some of the UK’s most prestigious and challenging schemes and are currently working on behalf of Network Rail, Rail Operating Companies and Contractors throughout the UK on Grip 2 to 8 stages of major infrastructure projects and frameworks, designing and engineering complex technical solutions to meet / exceed our client’s needs.

You must have a minimum Mechanical or Electrical Engineering Degree or equivalent and be a member of the IET, IRSE or other recognised professional body.

Essential expeerience must include experience in OLE Design within the UK
• You will be a team player, proactive and delivery focused
• You will possess the enthusiasm to tackle stretch tasks
• You will have flexibility to travel throughout the UK
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with proven planning and organisation skills
• Good IT skills including Microsoft Office applications

You will be reporting to the Senior or Principal Engineer within the OLE Design Team, you will provide technical support into assigned projects under professional supervision for the successful delivery of technically challenging designs. As they operate in such a diverse marketplace, they can safely say that you will gain an experience of working on a wide and varied portfolio of projects which will enhance your skills and test your design and technical knowledge.
