We have an exciting opportunity with one of the leading contractors in the rail industry. We are looking for a Project Director who specialises in Signalling Design within this role you will be responsible for leading a team of 50 to ensure that the best possible products and services are provided to their clients in the signalling division.

We are looking for a driven candidate who is not only looking to grow the team but also have their own personal ambitions to grow in the company and coincide with the companies standards and regulations. It is essential that you build and grow relationships within your team whilst earning respect from your peers through your leadership, innovation, personality and ambition.

During this role you will be responsible and expected to:

-Drive the vision and strategy of the engineering element
-Ensuring the project lifecycle from early development to detailed design
-Build a top performing team with staff development
-Work with their strategic supply chain partners
-Develop and plan and budget for the engineering management element
-Supporting and participating regular reviews of engineering management practise

Requirements:

-Charted engineer or equivalent
-Experience and successful track record of leading large teams
-Knowledge and experience of undertaking contractor design management
-Experience in the rail industry, signalling knowledge essential
-Experience of implementation transformational change
