We are looking to recruit an experienced Highway Design Engineer to work across a varied range of UK projects in a motivated team, in a well-known Engineering consultancy from East Grinstead.

The candidate needs to be able to design projects in accordance with DMRB and MCHW and prepare schemes using the NEC3/ NEC4. An experience of Highways England delivery would be advantageous, as well as experience in drainage.

You will need to have an extensive knowledge and understanding of the relevant legislation, as well as a working knowledge of standard highways and civil engineering specifications, conditions of contract and methods of measurement.

Job Requirements:

• A minimum of 4 years experience in highway and civil engineering
• Chartered Engineer or soon to be chartered (CEng MICE, CEng MCIHT)
• Knowledge in Design Software (e.g. Civil3D) and Drainage (MicroDrainage)
• DMRB, MCHW
• NEC 3/ NEC 4
