Document Controller/Project Admin required to join a sub-contractor to work across 3 high profile construction projects within Central London!

TEMP TO PERMANENT OPPORTUNITY
Hours will be approx 8:00am - 5:30pm Monday to Friday (Flexible)
Rate varies between £10-16ph LTD (£9-13ph PAYE) and when it goes permanent the salary will be between £24-£26k depending on experience
Daily duties will include things such as;
- Manage and maintain the site induction register
- Assist the document control team with the issue, receipt and tracking of all engineering and supplier deliverables through to close out and handover stage
- Archiving of site documentation recording and numbering appropriately to ensure everything is traceable
- Establishment and maintenance of central site files, drawings and registers
- Apply for permits and licences where applicable
- Updating notice boards daily on site
- Liaising with engineers on site and other contractors and assist in production and approval of project collaboration protocols documents
- Working closely with a team of document controller to help meet project deadline
- Managing RFI's
- Ordering stationary for the site offices when required
- Booking in deliveries and order via Datascope system
- Creating, formatting and updating documents using Microsoft packages
Successful candidates must have:
- Previous experience working on site or in a project office
- Experience using various EDMS systems
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong IT skills in MS Office including Outlook, Excel, Word
- The ability to multitask
- Good attention to detail
It is essential that candidates have a strong site administration and construction background to be shortlisted for the role as limited training is provided and you will need to hit the ground running.
