Document Controller, Rotherham

We are seeking a Document Controller. Based at Rotherham the successful individual will be responsible to the Document Control Manager and for the efficient running and operation of the document management systems for a large project.

Key Responsibilities:

• Input and maintenance of project EDMS including 4Projects, ProjectWise, SharePoint & Shared Drives.
• Manage and maintain central mailbox for incoming and outgoing project documentation.
• Raising and issuing transmittals on behalf of the project and designers.
• Distribution of electronic copies/links as required by the team.
• Updating document registers and tracking systems.
• Data input and manipulation including document enquiries.
• Following project procedures and ensuring the team adhere to the document control procedures.
• General administration as required including scanning hard copies received by the project, uploading files, renaming files, PDF printing and document editing using.
• Knowledge/Experience:

• IT literate – good IT skills, Proficient use of Microsoft office 365 packages
• Experience of document control within a similar environment.
• Experience of Rail projects beneficial.
• Experience of 4Projects/ProjectWise beneficial.
• Experience of working well with clients and partner organisations.
• Supporting the successful delivery of the project completing tasks in a timely manner.
• Ability to work to a variety of procedures and processes.
• An ability to work under pressure with minimal supervision to tight deadlines
• Handling engineering documentation and a good knowledge of engineering disciplines
