Document Controller required to join a large high profile rail contractor to be based on a site in the developing high profile project in West London!

12 MONTH CONTRACT
Rate varies between £15-£22ph LTD depending on experience

Responsibilities:
- To operate, maintain and assure the projects Business Collaborator Electronic Document Management System
- To administer the Business Collaborator Electronic Document System and provide periodic and adhoc reports
- Establishment and maintenance of central site files, drawings and registers
- Support the company directors as required including diary bookings, organising travel, taking meeting minutes, collating reports, maintaining office supplies, making refreshments
- Quality review of all submissions to ensure compliance with formal submission criteria
- Provide adhoc administrative support to all the teams
- Creating, formatting and updating documents using Microsoft packages
- Monitor all incoming calls dealing with all enquiries in an efficient and proactive manner
- Ensure that all formal project documentation and drawings are accurately recorded
- Ensure that established document control process are complied with at all times
- Work to exceed expected quality standards, comply with processes at all times and contribute to improvements
- Maintenance of relevant document and drawing registers
- Collation of AFC packs to enable CEM review and sign off
- Support QA activities with collation of hand-back documentation, Health and Safety files and client asset database
Successful candidates must have:
- Previous experience working on site or in a project office
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong IT skills in MS Office including Outlook, Excel, Word
- The ability to multitask
- Good attention to detail
It is essential that candidates have a strong site administration and construction background to be shortlisted for the role as limited training is provided and you will need to hit the ground running.
