My Rail Client with offices across the UK is looking for a Senior Document Controller on a Permanent Staff basis. Salaries Negotiable.

As Senior Document Controller, which reports to our Head of Document Control, you will have the chance to take the lead in the Project Team in relation to Document Control Issues. You would be looking after a small nucleus of Document Controllers day to day activities, attending Discipline meetings to offer advice and take comments regarding any issues with Document Control, mentoring new recruits and acting as a ‘Buddy’ to help establish a good work ethic of all the Document Controllers self-resourcing when covering holidays and illness.

Part of the role entails managing, recording and filing large volumes of incoming data onto ProjectWise and distributing to the Project team under the guidance of the Project Engineer. Also maintaining a Document Issue Sheet accurately and arranging for the issue in the correct format in a timely and accurate manner of outgoing deliverables as we;; as formatting reports and Spreadsheets ( in Word and Excel) to the required Company standard. You will be producing PDF’s and using Network Rail’s eB system to source records.
