Ford & Stanley the manufacturing Consultancy are currently seeking to recruit an Electrical Engineer for a major client based within the West Midlands. We are looking for 2-3 years experience within industry to join the Sales Support team.

• The role:-

  We are looking for an electrical engineer / Technician to join the UK Modernisations team based in West Bromwich. The Mods group supports the UK service branches with design, engineering, quotations and project managing of the refurbishment/modification projects. For this roll within the Mods group you will be involve the following tasks:

  • Ability to review and understand the electrical specifications/requirements of customer's modernisation tenders and enquiries
  • Technical offering of Modernisation Sales Offers
  • Ensure correct selection of equipment, products and components
  • To use company Design and product selection programs
  • Technical and Engineering support for UK Service branches
  • Ensure electrical equipment is installed and commissioned in accordance with current standards
  • Support the development and implementation of new products and technology for field modernisation packages

Requirement

• Qualified Electrical Engineer / Technician
• Practical experience and knowledge of the crane industry or industrial control equipment
• Ability to produce detailed costings and quotations, calculating labour and materials required
• Flexibility in working hours
• Willingness to work throughout the UK and Ireland on projects and assignments
• Strong social skills and a positive customer attitude is critical
• An eye for detail and commitment to meet a promise is key
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Strong team player is vital
• Self-motivation
