The company have secured a contract to design, build and maintain Generators to be used within a highly safety critical environment.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE

You’ll be an electrical engineer with fault finding capabilities with Generators or Diesel Engines, within any of these sectors; HM Armed Forces, Marine, HGVs, Automotive, Rolling Stock or Buses. You’ll be from an engineering background with relevant qualifications, an enthusiastic person, proactive and with good initiative, organising skills and a flexible attitude. Product training will be provided

ABOUT THE JOB

You’ll be working on a site maintaining, repairing, fault finding on Generators. Being an an enthusiastic person, proactive and with good initiative is essential or this role. You will also have experience of changing components and starter motors / fuel pumps etc.

This role will give you the opportunity to gain a greater understanding of the rolling stock environment. This role is working on a shift rotation basis, of 4 on 4 off 12 hour shifts 7am - 7pm, with one set of nights per month. Overtime paid at time and a half. As this role is within a safety critical environment you will be required to pass a Drug & Alcohol medical

THE REQUIREMENTS

• NVQ 3 or above in an Engineering related discipline.

• Experience of maintenance / fault finding / repair

THE SALARY

• Basic salary is £38148.00 plus (2 fixed bonuses per annum. One paid in June which is 69% of the months’ salary and one in November which is 60% of the month’s salary)

• Additional annual bonus of up to 6% of annual salary

• Company pay 8% into your pension with no minimum from the employee

• AXA Private Medical Healthcare for entire immediate family and dependants up to 25 years old
