The Company

Our client is a World-Famous specialist in the modification, overhaul and servicing of Rolling Stock and look after a variety of well-known clients throughout the country. Employing well over 150 people in the UK they are winning work like there’s no tomorrow and have contracts to carry out long term servicing and exam work as well as a whole host of mods. The time has come to welcome some additional, experienced personnel to this traditional company to enable them to fulfil their contracts.

This planned period of work will see you focus on the electrical aspect of the role where you will be entrusted to perform wiring, looming, connecting and disconnecting of existing systems such as control systems, CCTV, DOORS, PIS, TPWS and many more. Time is key as the project will be moving at a fast pace which will require deadlines to be met.

What do I need to be considered for this contract?

It’s as simples as this…to join the team, you will be an experienced Electrical Fitter who has a strong working electrical background within Rolling Stock, Navy, Forces, RAF etc... be fully committed to Monday – Friday 40 and the requirement to work overtime as and when required. You will be qualified to a Level 3 standard (or full apprenticeship) with a strong work ethic, will and desire to complete your day to day duties but most importantly be a team player!

What’s in it for me?

When joining this project as an Electrical Fitter you will be rewarded with an initial contract until the end of September 2019, with core hours of 40 per week plus overtime at managements discretion and an hourly rate of pay at £17 p/h
