Electrical Fitter - Tester, based Derby, 3 to 6 month contract, £20hr Ltd to start asap

Working with one of the region's largest employers who are now embarking on the busiest and most successful periods in their long history. You will help deliver some of the most technically advanced vehicles of their type, all designed developed and manufactured in Derby.

This is a rare opportunity to join a development team building test rigs to be used for rail rolling stock off vehicle systems proving / testing.

You will use your skills built within vehicle electrical engineering fitting / installation, rig building, panel wiring, testing, commissioning and use these in a unique and challenging environment.

You will need to be able to follow complexed and varied work instructions, drawings, schematics etc and assist in the delivery of these rigs.

You will need to be qualified to ideally HNC, certainly have undertaken trade apprenticeship or similar and have demonstrable experience of working in such as rail, automotive, aerospace, defence industry's.

There is also potential opportunity to progress quickly to a team leader type role with enhancements to duties and renumeration.
