Senior Electrical Engineer- London
Mane are currently recruiting for a Senior Electrical Engineer to join a leading Mechanical and Electrical provider within the infrastructure sector. You will be responsible for providing Electrical Engineering support to projects through design to delivery. You will be managing electrical installations to ensure successful delivery from a HSE, Programme, Quality, Compliance and Commercial perspective. This is a permanent role based in London offering a competitive salary plus package including 25 days holiday plus bank holidays, Private Medical Insurance, Pension Scheme.Previous experience within the infrastructure environment is essential.
What the position involves:
Undertaking electrical design (up to 11KV level) in-line with all current standards. Key considerations should be safety, maintainability, ease of installation, design sustainability and environmental impact.
Provide engineered solutions to key project problems to satisfy client's expectations, project restrictions and budget considerations.
Required:
HND in Electrical Engineering, or equivalent
Engineering Council Registration as Technician Engineer, Incorporated Engineer or qualification leading to this Status, desirably for Chartered
Registered member of either CIBSE or IET or other recognised Engineering Council Institution
Knowledge of relevant electrical installations legislation and standards, BIM and design modelling standards.
Knowledge of design processes and associated compliance.
Utilisation of Electrical design packages (Amtech/Trimble, Cymap etc).
Previous experience on Low to Medium Voltage Electrical Equipment.
