Acceptance Engineer

Location: £400 - £650/day Ltd Company Rate

Ten Live Rail are seeking an Acceptance Engineer for our clients new train fleet. The successful candidate will be required to travel across the sites across the region, on a12 month contract. We ask that applicants be in a position to commit to the full term of assignment, and our client requires that someone start in this post August 2018

Key Accountabilities

• Inspection of the manufacturing of the vehicles
• Regular observation of testing
• Management of snagging lists
• Liaison with factory production teams
• Liaison with 3rd party clients on programme and quality
• Maintain snagging list
• Support supplier in on time delivery

Essential Experience:

• Experience of new train manufacturer and introduction in the UK
• Quality Inspection processes for new trains
• Manufacturing processes
• Good Verbal and Written communication
• Glasscase inspection
• Technical understanding of how new trains work

Desirable Experience:

Multi Lingual, though not essential
