Acceptance Engineers x3 – Manchester – 10 Month Contract

My client are currently looking for three Acceptance Engineers to work on an interim basis in Manchester. However, this role will require candidates to be flexible as travel will be needed up and down the Network for meetings and test runs etc. Also possible travel to Europe for testing etc.

The Acceptance Engineers will be expected to work full time and provide support to the three Project Managers handling the fleet implantation.

My client are looking for candidates with experience in at least some of the areas below as time for training and learning is limited, but not all are necessary.

• Assistance with close out of remaining open technical issues from design, build and test, to close out specification requirements.
• Assistance with UK testing and fault free running support
• Assistance with the fleet acceptance programme, including unit inspections
• Assistance with maintenance integration with the train manufacturer, or experience of day to day fleet management
• Assistance with systems integration

Essential Requirements:

• Previous experience working withing new/refurb fleet introduction
• Experience working for one of the main rolling stock manufacturers in the UK or Europe
• Able to start within the next 4 weeks
