THE COMPANY

Their UK operation is currently developing, and you can be apart of the Organisation from the very beginning. There will be start-up operations across the UK & NI including vast manufacturing facility here in the UK.

The company have secured a number of high profile orders with full life-cycle maintenance contracts to manufacture and maintain brand new trains and as a result, will look to increase their headcount to meet the demands of these contracts.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE

You will be an analytical Bid Engineer with experience within the Rolling Stock / Rail sector, with exceptional planning and organisational skills, to be the lead contender when bidding for new contracts. With strong leadership and negotiation skills you’ll have the creativity to bring an exciting to aspect to bids. My client would love candidates with experience within Sales, Tenders or Bids for the Rolling Stock Sector.

ABOUT THE JOB

This role will require you to be responsible for estimating and compiling the overall estimates for repairs and respond to rolling stock contests with maintenance services included. In addition to the estimating function, this role will support the other technical departments to ensure that all tenders are completed on time. Participation in competitions and preparation of the supply of the services required during the operation (maintenance, guarantee, supply of spare parts, etc.), including analysis of specifications, preparation of documentation and budget for the offer.

THE REQUIREMENTS

• Educated to NVQ 3 within an engineering discipline
• Full UK driving license
• High technical capacity with clients and or suppliers
• Candidate should have a sound working knowledge of procedures and processes undertaken in railways, knowledge of trains trade skills and their scope of work

THE SALARY

Salary is negotiable depending on experience + Pension + 25 Days Holiday + BH
