Egis Rail currently have an exciting opportunity for a Chief Engineer/ Design Coordinator to join our growing team. The Chief Engineer/ Design Coordinator will build relationships and work effectively in a team, with client partners and sub-contractors for a new railway project in Poland, based in Warsaw.

Missions & Main activities
The project is based in Warsaw, Poland and consists of the modernisation of the existing line no. 104 Chabówka - Nowy Sacz and the construction of new railway lines no. 622 and no 623 Podłęże - Szczyrzyc - Tymbark / Mszana Dolna, and of two railway links no. 627 and 628.
The project is split into two contracts. The first part concerns the modernisation of the existing line and the second part concerns the construction of the new lines. The goals of the project can be summarized around three major areas: improvement of the performance of the railway network, solving exploitation issues, increasing the safety of the railway network.
The successful candidate will manage the multi-disciplinary design disciplines teams and key experts (track alignment, power supply, OCL, Bridges, Tunnels, Signalling) and also the interfaces (internal and external).
The Chief Engineer/ Design Coordinator will lead periodic interface management meetings and monitor and track interfaces between railways systems, civil design and other external infrastructures.
You will have:
• Experience as Chief Engineer and/ or Project Coordinator in railway projects (minimum 10 years)
• Experience in delivering rail design in multi-disciplinary environment
• Experience in PKP requirements and/ or Polish market is a plus
• Strong interpersonal and communication (written and verbal) skills
• Excellent written and oral communication
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize to meet strict deadlines
• Must speak both English and Polish fluently
