AndersElite are working with a Tier 1 Main Contractor within the Rail environment who are currently delivering works on a well known rail project in the Essex area.

They are looking for a Field Engineer who deems themselves an expert in his/her field and will be part of a team of Field Engineers and Engineers to take responsibility for activities in the field relating to Construction Surveillance/Telecoms/Electrical works.

The Field Engineer is responsible for the "Delivery" of quality compliance within the designated section of the works. The responsibility extends to all construction and surveillance/Telecoms/Electrical related activities including logistics planning and implementation in collaboration with the site wide logistics team, Health and Safety, surveillance

Experience, Knowledge & Skills

• Broad knowledge of construction techniques with high technical expertise across their specific types of construction and forms of contract.
• Good working knowledge of the NEC ECC and FIDIC contracts.
• General understanding of design obligations under CDM Regulations - along with an understanding of the document and drawing approvals processes.
• Possess management skills and commercial awareness and have solid experience in the role on a variety of rail projects.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil/Electrical Engineering qualification or equivalent vocational training and experience.
• CSCS. & PTS
• Professional Memberships are an advantage but not essential.
