An opportunity has come available in central Manchester for an experienced Geo-Environmental Engineer to join a well-respected environmental Consultancy. You will have the opportunity to (depending on experience) lead / manage projects from tender stage through to final invoice including all technical, financial and commercial aspects.

I am looking to speak with a Geo-Environmental Engineer with technical experience in designing / managing ground investigations as well as delivering Phase 2 interpretive reports on either a Geo-Environmental and/or Geotechnical basis.

The role as a Geo-Environmental Engineer will surround project management, mentoring junior engineers and delivering technical reports on a Desk studies, Phase 2, interpretive reporting on land quality / characteristics, interpretation on Geotechnical ground conditions and foundation recommendations, remedial (when needed) and Qualitative and Quantitative Risk Assessments.

Geo-Environmental Engineer specification:

• Degree in Geology, Engineering Geology or Environmental Science etc.
• Obtained an MSc in a relative subject.
• At least 3 years' experience delivering Geo-Environmental / Geotechnical projects on a consultative basis.
• Extensive design and management of ground investigations via various techniques.
• Extensive technical reporting on a phase 1, phase 2, remedial, validation and/or geotechnical basis.
• Full UK driving license.
