To be suitable for the position you must have
Minimum 5 years' experience. High Speed Rail design experience, including earthworks and multidisciplinary design interface experience. Knowledge and experience of summarising and reporting earthworks quantities for one or more projects involving multi-million cubic meters of earthworks.

Although not essential it would also be advantageous if you have
- Experience in geotechnical analysis and design including earthworks, formation treatments and civils structures

Role Information
The role will initally be a 12 Months fixed contract with the potential to be taken on full time. The role is set in a multi project, multidisciplinary, multicultural environment. Tasks will be varied including summarising and reporting earthworks volumes, geotechnical analysis and design, site supervision, production of drawings, specifications and reports. Accountable for quality of own work to time and budget. Daily contact with other members of the group and other Arup staff. Regular contact with site investigation contractors and external agencies. Developing contacts with Clients. Reporting to the Senior Engineer and team management
