M&E Section Engineer required for an 18 month project on a Rail Depot in based in Norwich, this is a fantastic opportunity to gain hands on experience working for an industry leading principle contractor.
This position is available both contract and temp to perm.
As an M&E Section Engineer the following Key requirements will be:
- Looking for an output and records focused ME specialist
- Conversant with working in a live Network Rail environment and particularly Depots
- The candidate will need to be good at driving their own workload but as part of a team, particularly in close proximity to the client
- Professional Membership requirement - APM or Institute of Mechanical/Electrical
- Qualified to degree level in a relevant discipline
- The role is to manage the delivery of the building services and railway MEP systems supporting the MEP Managing Engineer
- The candidate will need to bridge the gap between design and delivery teams and manage specialist subcontractors
- Experience working within a BIM environment and ensuring integration between design models would be advantageous
The following Key Skills are required:
- PTS
- To start late Jan/early Feb depending on availability and one interview has been conducted
- It literate with relevant software packages including central server recording, Office, CDE, CAD etc
- Tax free lodging is available where the candidate meets the living away criteria
