We have an opportunity for x 3 MEP Supervisors to join a high profile rail project based in Glasgow, initially on a 15month + fixed term nightshift contract.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a truly unique project and to be part of a UK first - the introduction of Unattended Train Operation (UTO) to a live brownfield site. The project is made up of a consortium of public bodies, national and international companies.

Accountabilities:

• Ensure the interface requirements between Civil and Technological activities are achieved and check on site that Civil activities are compliance with project’ s design
• Ensure the compliance on site of the rules foreseen by the HSE plan, for the works under his/her responsibility
• Support the Construction Manager to verify that civil works performed under Civil companies responsibility are compliance with the technical specifications
• Support the Construction Manager to take over the work from other Parties (e.g. Civil partner, Client etc.) checking their compliance with the design before allowing Technological installation
• Ensure compliance of civil work activities with the construction planning
• Report to the Construction Manager any delays in the activities and propose remedial actions
• Support the Construction Manager to detect changes/non compliances with respect the issued design and specifications
• Reporting and monitoring, on civil work activities using as baseline the project plan
• Examine the work progress

Skills / Qualifications

• CDM 2015
• Fire emergency
• SMSTS/ SSSTS (Site Manager/Supervisors Safety Training Scheme)
• SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme) or SSSTS (Site Supervisor Safety Training Scheme) – Managers and Supervisors
• Construction Skills Certification Scheme (CSCS) Card – level of card depending on experience
• IOSH Managing Safely – 5 day course
• Computer Literate
• First Aid Trained – 5 day course
• Asbestos awareness training
