They are looking to appoint a Multimedia Systems Integration Engineer who will be responsible for integration of multimedia equipment and systems in data networks. Passenger information systems, video surveillance or public address system. Program in different programming languages, for different platforms and software systems.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Definition of multimedia systems (information to passengers, video surveillance, public address, personal account etc.). Requirements specification, supplier selection and integration validation
• Evaluation of protocols, routing rules and characteristics of communication equipment for the integration of information systems
• Testing of functional software and networks developed, including in-vehicle tests

TECHNICAL KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS:

• Communication networks and information technologies
• Ethernet networks
• TCP / IP Networking
• Knowledge of electricity and basic electronics
• Knowledge in mechanical fixings and installations
• Knowledge in database management and data processing
• Knowledge in video transmission and reproduction systems
• Knowledge in audio transmission and reproduction systems
• Knowledge in wireless transmission technologies and cybersecurity
• Recommended programming skills:
  • Knowledge in programming
  • Object-oriented programming (C #, Java)
  • Eclipse and / or Visual Studio environment at advanced level
  • Web Programming and Web Services (HTML5, .NET)
  • Access to databases (SQL)
• Use is Windows and Linux operating system at medium-high level
• Advanced knowledge in optimization tools and code debugging

PERSON PROFILE:

• Senior Telecommunications Technical Engineer (recommended), with speciality in Telematics, Communications, Information Technology and Software Engineering
• Senior Computer Technical Engineer (recommended)
• Good communication skills in a multi-disciplinary group inside Engineering, and also with external suppliers
• Workgroup management
• Management in multiproject environment
• Abstraction capacity
• Ability to decide / prioritize in their scope of work in projects
• Resolution of incidents in line with priorities
• Spanish (proficiency), and medium-high level English languages, with medium German desirable
