OLE Field Engineer
Day Rate - Negotiable depending on experience

Purpose of the role:
The OLE Engineer reports to the Package Manager and is responsible for managing the construction works and all associated processes within the section.
The OLE Engineer will delegate operational requirements, specifically to the supervisors and engineers, the day-to-day 'on site' issues.
The OLE Engineer will liaise with the wider site management team on matters of site control and coordination and will ensure that work is executed safely, that environmental requirements are addressed and that prescribed qualities are achieved.
Minimum 1 year OLE construction experience, demonstrable understanding and knowledge of key installation and design parameters which will allow on-site solutions to any installation issues to be implemented.
Reporting to the Package managers and managing more Junior Construction Engineers. Will be responsible for the day to day delivery of all aspects of supporting paperwork and technical support required by the installation team. Good understanding of OLE construction techniques and installation parameters is critical to allow early identification of potential issues in allocation and allow for resolution of issues prior to planned installation.

GENERIC RESPONSIBILITIES
- To understand the contractual constraints and requirements regarding all works within the section.
- To ensure that work is carried out in full conformance with quality, environmental and safety requirements.
- To ensure that company procedures and statutory obligations are fully addressed.
- To ensure that all work is executed in accordance with the latest information.
- To monitor implementation of permit systems.
- Compilation and production of work packs including requesting relevant supporting paperwork such as SSOW etc.
- Lift planning
- Production of task briefings
- Input into WPPs
- Input into short term detailed programmes
- Input in installation methodology
- Resolution of site technical issues
- Site Surveys
- Attend and represent works at possession planning and whiteboard meetings
- On-site support for installation works
- Development, maintenance and input into installation trackers
- Ensure all site work is delivered in line with Health and Safety Legislation, company, project and rail standards
