ABOUT YOU

You will currently be working as a Rolling Stock Technician but with experience and understanding of the Reliability and Performance of trains.

With a keen eye for detail you will have the ability to fault find on electrical and mechanical systems and have an appetite to progress your career in engineering

ABOUT THE POSITION

You will be investigating all in-service delays for the New Fleet of Trains, identifying the root cause of the faults, either with systems or components.

With your detailed knowledge gained from this failure analysis, you will produce reports that detail your findings and help to reduce repeat occurrences

Through analysing these reports, the performance department will be able to monitor trends and enable the engineering teams to plan maintenance.

You will have the opportunity to reduce life cycle costs by identifying reliability improvements.

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS

You will hold an advanced engineering apprenticeship

You will have Rolling Stock experience

It would also be desired that you have RCM (Reliability Centered Maintenance) experience
