PRINCIPAL DRAINAGE ENGINEER - WEST MIDLANDS - PERMANENT - £48,000 - £60,000

ARM are working with a leading transportation company with roots in highways, rail and public transportation. We are looking are a Principal Drainage Engineer to join their team in the West Midlands to be working on a range of large infrastructure projects that includes HS2, Network Rail and Trans-Pennine, as well as other.

About You:

You will be an experienced Drainage Engineer with experience from a design side.

You experience will include technical design, surface water planning, foul water strategy and flood risk assessments.

You will have knowledge of CDM regulations.

You will have experience of working on infrastructure or highways or rail projects

You will have experience of Microdrainage or Infoworks

What you will be doing:

This is a new position working within our clients main civils works unit that is currently aligned to the HS2 project. As the Principal Drainage Engineer you will be design production lead on the project. This role will have some line management of other drainage engineers working on the project and will be working as part of a larger team.

This position will be based in Birmingham and they are currently working using the hybrid working model.

Salary for this position is between £48,000 and £60,000 and is dependent on experience and suitability for the role. On top of this is a range of benefits and a real chance to be involved with major projects, as well as future career progression opportunities.
