We are currently recruiting on behalf of one of the worlds most established engineering consulting firms who are searching for a Principal Engineer to join their Highways and Drainage team in Shrewsbury. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced highways engineer to join a growing team, working on some of the UKs major highways projects.
 
The successful Principal Engineer would be expected to lead on the delivery of technical outputs within project teams, providing technical input to the agreements of project briefs, proposals and deliverables to Project Managers. The chosen engineer would also be responsible for checking, certifying and authorising designs, documents and approvals. Overall the candidate would be directly responsible for achieving technical excellence and innovation across the team.
 
This is a fantastic opportunity for an established Principal Engineer, or for a Senior Engineer with a background in highways and drainage looking to progress within their career.
 
Job requirements:
-          Chartered/ incorporated member of a professional institute (or equivalent)
-          Civil engineering experience or site experience
-          AutoCAD experience
-          Experience working to DMRB standards
