We are currently working with a leading Engineering consultancy whom are looking to grow their Geotechnical team in Birmingham with a Principal Geotechnical Engineer. This is an exciting opportunity in which you will get the opportunity to develop a new Geotechnical and Geo-Environmental team in Birmingham which will be supported by the wider business including a strong geotechnical team in other regional offices. You will be exposed some of the UK leading projects within infrastructure which includes Rail, Highway and Energy from Waste schemes.

You will have a detailed knowledge and understanding of l the geotechnical aspects of civil engineering design and construction principles and standards which includes a proven track record of relevant experience in Geotechnical engineering design and site experience at senior or principal engineer level.

This is an excellent opportunity for the right candidate and would suit an ambitious Senior or Principal Geotechnical Engineer whom is looking to step up and grow and build their own team.

Job Requirements

• Understanding of Eurocode and standards
• Chartered Civil Engineer or Chartered Geologist
• Geotechnical design experience
• Commercial and financial knowledge and capability
