This is an exciting opportunity for a RAMS Engineer to join a highly reputable Consultancy and Main Contractor in their Systems and Signalling division. You be working for one of the main players in the very busy Rail Sector.

POSITION OVERVIEW:

Technical and Responsibilities:

• Perform RAM related activities;
• Apply RAM Process and Methods Guidelines;
• Make recommendations for architecture choices for both products and systems to meet RAM targets;
• When necessary, defend choices in front of customers;
• Write Reliability documents mandated by the company RAM Process for Tenders, Products, Systems and Projects.
• Write Reliability documents mandated by the Customer requirements.
• Put in place a RAM Monitoring process during O&M (Operations & Maintenance) phase and issue RAM-related KPIs for Projects,
• Budgets: Tenders, Projects, Product and System developments.
• Perform Reliability Modelling of Products and Systems.

• Define and Manage Project and Product Reliability Growth in coordination with the Quality function (as per Reliability Growth Management guideline);

This role will be measured by:

• Product Business performance
• Team Performance
• RAM-related KPIs for Projects, Products and Systems.
• RAM-related KPIs relating to the Alstom RAM process.

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Mechanical, Industrial or Electrical Engineering;
• RAM Engineering experience (RBD, FTA, FMEA, RAM predictions, Markov, IEC62380);
• Ability to perform complex reliability modelling and predictions along with Failure Mode, Effects and Criticality Analysis (FMECA), Mean-Time-To-Repair (MTTR) analysis, System Safety Hazard Analysis (desirable).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office software;
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
