ABOUT THE COMPANY

The Company has been established within the UK for 18 years, and they are currently growing rapidly as they continue to win new projects to deliver New Rolling Stock onto the UK Rail Network. With 200 new Trains, as the Test Engineer you will be busy ensuring the trains are ready for the UK Network. The Company are increasing their current number of employees to 2000 by 2019! ABOUT YOU

You will have an abundance of Technical Writing experience gained within the Rolling Stock, Aerospace or Defence sector, with a degree of Rolling Stock testing and fault-finding knowledge. Working within a close-knit team, analysing test data, writing test specifications and test reports and making recommendations to Design & Test Engineers within the UK & Overseas based on your findings.

ABOUT THE POSITION

This position can be based in Central London, or West London but you must be flexible as there maybe be times you'll be required to carry out analysis at other train depots within the UK or Overseas.

To enable the full support of the test programmes you will be required to write the test specifications and method statements. This will involve you speaking with UK and Overseas Engineers to enable you to fully understand the procedures.

You will be responsible for the analysis of testing data and compiling technical reports and issue your findings to key stakeholders.

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS

To be considered for this Test Engineer role you must have experience of testing Rolling Stock and hold an a of a minimum NVQ3 / Advanced apprenticeship within an Engineering discipline

You must have previously written test procedures and specifications within the Rolling Stock environment
