Role: SCADA T&C Software Engineer

Duration: Ongoing

Rate £300-£350 depending on experience

The role would require the candidate to work as part of the SCADA/ Software Test and Commissioning team, and be based primarily at the Route Control Centre. They would be required to assist the other team members on site and complete end to end testing for all SCADA equipment, ensuring that all equipment triggered on site were correctly replicated on the management system GUI. The candidate should be proficient with management systems to ensure they can keep up with testing and raise detailed fault reports when required, delving into the software where applicable to understand the issues.

Requirements for the T&C engineers based on the team assignment -

? Solid knowledge of Station Management Systems
? Good knowledge of Windows Server 2008 R2, Windows 7, 8, 10
? Proficient in Microsoft Office products
? Good knowledge of domains, group policies, users and computers
? Proven experience in testing activities.
? Ability to meticulously follow a test schedule and report clear and concise defects.
? Drive T&C activities & Site Supervision if required
? Working knowledge of databases and SQL,
? Working knowledge of procedural programming languages
? Working knowledge of SCADA, DNP3, OPC
? Working knowledge of Network configuration (Cisco certifications preferred)

? Knowledge of Systems Integration (PAVA/ CCTV/ Telephony)
? Knowledge of MEP systems useful
? Railway experience useful
