With over 50 years civil engineering experience they have grown and taken huge steps into sectors such as Highways, Energy, Transport and Utilities. However, it’s the Rail side of the business where you’ll be pitching up ready to climb that beanstalk to the land of the giants!!

About the Job

This is where you get to stand on the shoulders of giants. As Senior Engineer, you will be managing and supervising a team of ‘top of the class’ Site Engineers who are busily involved in a bridge construction project. There is no time for writing stories in this position though because as the Senior Engineer on site you will be sitting in the office producing and amending all site paperwork including WPP, Task Briefs, Method Statements and all Quality Assurance documents.

The Requirements

To be picked as the lead role for this particular story you will need to have a proven background as a Senior Engineer in a rail environment on bridge reconstruction projects. If you can back that up with a HNC/HND or Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering chances are you will get straight through to the stage version.

Contract details and how to apply

The pot of gold you can expect to receive for this gem of a contract is £280-£325 per shift dependant on your knowledge and experience. You will mainly be working when the sun is shining but there may be the requirement to work nights if you can.
