Role: Senior Structural Engineer

I am looking to place a Senior Structural Engineer within a multidisciplinary engineering consultancys Leeds office. The firm are currently undergoing a period of growth and they require an extra Senior Engineer to work under an Associate who can operate with minimal supervision.

Ideally, candidates will have experience in a similar Senior-level design role and are looking for their next opportunity to progress onto larger projects and take on more responsibility in the design process for a variety of commercial, residential (medium-rise), education and industrial design projects.

The firm operates on a broad range of projects, including mixed residential projects, retail/commercial centres and £100m+ mixed-use high-rise structures. The firm are keen proponents of BIM technology, having been one of the early investors in Revit technology when it was first released.

Ideally, candidates will already hold, or be very near to achieving Chartered membership with either the ICE or IStructE. For those who have not yet attained the accreditation, mentoring and support will be given by the firm. Professional Development is very important to the consultancy and they have a strong interest in developing their employees, holding Investors in People Gold Accreditation.

Role Requirements:

• (Near) Chartered membership of ICE/IStructE
• 4+ years experience in Structural Engineering
• Experience in multiple sectors residential, commercial, industrial, education, healthcare, etc
• Relevant education in Structural Engineering
• Software competency in Tekla, Revit, SAP2000, STAAD Pro, or similar
