We are currently recruiting for a Telecoms Engineer for Central Scotland.
Main Responsibilities:
The post holder must have the ability to analyse and understand test data results, so they can make recommendations on whether systems are safe to bring into operational use, and to verify that systems are operating to the agreed design criteria.
The post holder must have extensive knowledge of operating rules and regulations and current safety legislation, and must possess the capability and knowledge to undertake site inspections and witnessing of system testing and commissioning.
They should have extensive experience of providing professional and technical advice, guidance and support on telecommunications engineering issues within a project environment, experience of carrying out technical document review and analysis.
Essential Knowledge:

Must hold valid PTS

Must hold Network Rail ICI
-
Closed Circuit Television (both analogue and IP)

Public Address/Voice Alarm systems
-
Help Point/Intercom systems
-
LAN/WAN
-
Station Management/SCADA systems
-
Telephony systems
Both contract and permanent employment options available. Rates/ salary are negotiable dependent on experience.
