Testing & Commissioning Engineer
Project - Crossrail
Day Rate - £300-350 per day
Contract length - 5 months but could be ongoing
My client is working on the Crossrail project and are in the market for a number of Testing & Commissioning Engineer to help close out the project.
These engineers will be experienced in at least one of the following fields;
- CDN/Telephoney,
- CCTV/PAVA,
- Radio (DAS testing)
- SCADA
Main Challenges of the Job
- Ensuring Project milestones are achieved.
- Progressing project testing activity and monitoring fault rectification activity.
- Supporting the project in identifying key technical and quality issues for resolution.
- Supporting the project in building effective working relationships at the appropriate level within the contractor's team.
Person Specification
- Degree qualified engineer or equivalent experience
- Ability to work well under pressure to achieve milestones.
- Previous experience working on large scale railway related Communications projects.
- ECS/CSCS (ECS is preferred)
- SSSTS
- Sentinel (this is not required for the contractors to start but will be required when Crossrail goes live)
- Manual Handling
- Pre-employment D&A
