Mane are recruiting for a Financial Analyst for a 6 month contract in Newcastle. As a Finance Analyst you will be providing Finance & Commercial support to the F&C Manager (Sales) & F&C Manager (Gas Business).

Requirements:
*Reporting to the Finance & Commercial Manager (Sales)
*Providing financial support to the Head of Sales, Sales Service Line Managers, F&C Manager (Sales), F&C Manager (Gas Business), and PS PG Finance Director
*Interface with Finance and Commercial community (Newcastle/other sites), REU and RSO Finance and Management staff, Sales and Bid Management departments and staff at all levels, Operations, Projects and Contract Management Teams.

Main Duties:
*Maintenance and Control of Salesforce data including supporting the business in forecasting of prospects revenue and workload.
*Support F&C Manager (Sales) with commercial aspects of bidding to ensure risks managed during the bidding phase.
*Analyse Actual performance against Budgets / Targets / Forecasts / KPI's for Sales & Gas Business
*Preparation of annual budgets and regular forecasts of financial performance in the Sales department and Gas Business.
*Month end Journals and Reporting.
*Deliver adhoc reporting requirements from BU as and when required
*Promotes and supports compliance culture within business

QUALIFICATIONS

*Preferably with a formal, recognised, finance qualification - e.g. CIMA, ACA or qualified by experience

EXPERIENCE

*Minimum 5 years in a similar function within a finance department.
*Strong finance background, with exposure to management accounts and cost accounting.
*Ability to forge strong working relations with non financial staff
