Works are based on the South Shields project that will involve Pway, piling, new platform construction, signalling, monitoring and OLE works which will be undertaken during a 24/7 Blockade. Works will be on a rota to meet site demands and to cover days off. Candidate must have experience in Pway, Piling and New platform construction.

PTS/CSCS/SMSTS/OLEC1 & First Aid are minimum requirements.

CV should alsostate current living location, number of years of railway experience and either Station, Pway or bridge experience.

ROLE

You will be working as part of a highly successful project team as a Site/General Foreman. As a General Foreman you will be required to supervise all works for staff on site, including demolition to existing platforms and stations, remedial, track and any associated works. You may also be required to travel between stations and work a variety of shift patterns.

PPE: (waterproof and non-waterproof & must be all Orange), High-Viz, hard hat (blue or white), midsole protection steel toecap safety boots, safety glasses, safety gloves. Hi-Viz Trousers to minimum network rail standard NR/L2/OHS/021. Tickets & Qualifications: You will be required to hold a minimum Network Rail Sentinel card PTS AC/DCCR as well as a valid CSCS card. Additional tickets / qualifications required for this specific role are SMSTS/SSSTS. You will receive an overall project induction and site specific induction upon commencement. This includes fire evacuation and general emergency procedures, first aiders and fire wardens as well as any other health & safety information specific to the office or site you will be working in.
