THE CLIENT

Our client is one of the leading engineering and construction companies in the UK and provide specialist building, civil engineering and rail expertise to a range of markets. They deliver successful projects in a wide range of industries, including commercial, industrial, education, rail infrastructure and depots, highways and energy.

Due to them successfully winning a highways framework, they are now looking for several experienced Foreman to join the ever-growing team in Bedfordshire – so if you want to join a market leading contractor, what are you waiting for?!

ABOUT THE JOB

In the fast-paced highways term maintenance environment, it is imperative you can work quickly and efficiently, whilst also motivating the team on the ground to do so as well. As an experienced Foreman, you’ll already be aware of your expected responsibilities, with project work including road resurfacing, drainage, earthworks, devegetation – essentially utilising your general civils background.

With this being part of a framework, there is guaranteed longevity of work and no two days are the same – so if you’re ready to work in an exciting, ever changing atmosphere this could just be the opportunity for you.

IDEAL CANDIDATE

So, I bet you’re wondering what my client are looking for? In a nutshell, they are needing Foreman who can hit the ground running with experience on highways term maintenance contracts – or solid general civils experience within a highways capacity.

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

• Trade Qualification – NVQ Level 3 or higher
• Experience on TMC (highways) OR general civils experience within highways

PACKAGE

• Salary depending on experience
• Car allowance/company car
• 25 days’ holiday + 8 days’ bank holiday
