THE IDEAL CANDIDATE

If you’re a General Foreman looking for a hefty highways project right on your doorstep then look no further! With phase one completing in October (mostly earthworks and fencing) and the recent project award of phases two and three, your exceptional leadership is needed to deliver 7.5km of new road, four new roundabouts and several structures over road and rail.

THE ROLE

As General Foreman you’ll lead the team to ensure all site-based construction activities are undertaken to high standards and executed in a safe manner as well maintaining comprehensive site records. You’ll ensure effective coordination of all people on site, careful material and plant management to meet programme and financial objectives as well as making sure temporary and permanent works are executed in accordance with the design. This will be a fast paced and demanding role that will require a strong leader able to get stuck straight in and deliver results!

THE REQUIREMENTS

To be considered for this General Foreman role you’ll need previous roadworks experience working on highways schemes working for a similar main contractor supported by SMSTS/SSSTS and CSCS. If you have any bridge experience in addition to the above that’ll be looked upon favourably.

THE SALARY

  • £40-45K + Car/Car Allowance + Pension + Healthcare + Bonus
