Recruitment, onboarding and HR support

As an HR Partner, you will support the Director, Managers and employees from the technical teams in the organization in achieving the company's ambitious goals.

Primary tasks:

• Independent responsibility for recruitment, onboarding and offboarding for a major infrastructure construction project
• HR advisory services around specific challenges
• Handling of personnel matters
• HR administrative tasks related to the departments you support
• Drive processes in the HR policy/processes such as performance reviews across the organization
• Candidates should have at least five years' experience from a position as an HR consultant or HR partner, preferably from companies in the construction industry, and have at least 3 years working with infrastructure projects.

You thrive on the interaction between office teams and project/site staff, where you are known to execute on the tasks to be solved.

In addition, you are:

• Familiar with employment law and labor unions within Canada, preferably with a focus on Construction projects
• Experienced user of Excel and the other programs in the Office suite
• Team player with good communication skills and a trustworthy approach to people
• You thrive in an ambitious environment, where your success largely depends on your ability to prioritize your own time, efforts and tasks.
• You have a high drive and high work capacity, you are a strong listener and are clear in your communication.
• Your office location will be in Vancouver but offer future travel and relocation if desired
