We currently have a vacancy for a Access Coordinator available with a highly commended Rail Infrastructure Company based in Reading. This is a contract role initially for 6 Months.
The purpose of this role is to arrange Track Access for the delivery of maintenance and third party works in accordance with the planning timescales, produce and manage the Delivery Unit Period Possession Plan, Submit possessions and Temporary Speed Restriction requests using the Possession Planning System (PPS). Manage the application of all access and isolation requests from the Delivery Unit.
The successful candidate will have extensive knowledge of the Rail Sector ideally with experience of working within an operational railway environment. You will be familiar with the access planning processes and systems as well as having a good knowledge of the relevant standards and procedures involved, you must have a good geographical knowledge and excellent interpersonal, communication and organisational skills.
This role is for a public sector organisation, and has been determined to be inside IR35 for Limited Company contractors.
