We are currently looking for Structural Design or Bridge Engineer to be based in Birmingham working on Highway Structures Design schemes working for a major engineering company. This is a great opportunity for an experienced graduate looking to take that next step up. 

Within the position you will undertake specific projects as directed Senior Structures Design Engineer, undertaking and preparing structural calculations and designs in accordance with relevant standards, such as the DMRB, CDM and Eurocode. There will be an element of management and you will be expected to supervise the work of Graduate Engineers and Technicians within the team. 

Although this advert is for an Assistant Engineer, we are also looking for an Engineer, and Senior Engineer for the same Engineering, so if this position doesnt necessarily fit yourself please dont hesitate to get in touch as there be other potential suitable Bridge/Highway Structures positions. 

Job Requirement

• Experience in undertaking Bridge, or Highway Structures Design, assessment, or inspection
• Familiar with the relevant standard such as the Eurocode, DMRB and CDM
• Full UK driving license
