What is the purpose of this role?
Accountable to the P&P Lead. A junior management role within the Amey Rail supporting the P&P Lead with:
- Creating sustainable success via a high-performance People & Process (People and Operational) that adopts best practice, operations to go smoothly, on time and delivers to quality within the Alliance partnership.
- People and Operational related process establishment and re-engineering, implementing Change and Business Improvement.
- Leading P&P Projects of a suitable scale or subsections of larger projects or within Programmes.
NOP Lead for Resource co-ordination and associated improvement workstreams
What will this role involve?
Support and manage implementation of a People and Process Strategy that combines the requirements of Amey Rail and Transpire, this includes but is not limited to:

Supporting production the overall Resourcing Strategy for all Amey Rail works on Transpire, and then responsible for delivering on this strategy to provide the Alliance with the resources it requires.
Support tender processes and strategy as required, including the communication plan for Client and suppliers as appropriate, support delivery of business and Alliance KRAs.
Ensure Client and key stakeholders aspirations are fully understood and incorporated into the delivery plan as appropriate.
Support the development of business cases that initiate change, projecting specific benefits to come from these changes.
Identify and monitor project risks, planning and implementing mitigations, and responding to any other issues that impact P&P delivery or team motivation and performance. Responsible for/Support resolving Transpire Amey Rail personnel issues e.g. grievances, performance issues, personal T&C issues.
What are we looking for?
Essential:
- Graduate or equivalent quals/experience with experience in a project role
- Skilled at surveys, managing and reporting data using relevant software
- Self-starter with a learning mindset, able to adapt to and prioritise a varying workload
- Communicating successfully using modern methods in a work based context
- Target driven with an ability to work within a high change and complexity environment
Desirable:
- Quals/Experience in a People, Project, STEM, Business Change discipline
- Social value knowledge and/or experience
- Appreciation of Recruitment
