Randstad are looking for an Assistant Quantity Surveyor on a freelance basis for one of our major utility's contractors on a huge project based in London.

The contractor is one of the largest privately owned construction firms in the UK specialising in utilities and civil engineering. Their turnover for the year 2021 was £255m and they have major projects located across the UK within their Water, Energy, Civils, Plant and Traffic divisions.

The candidate will be working on helping deliver the utility diversions to support track widening for a new railway track.

The client is looking for a degree qualified individual with 1-3 years commercial experience. The candidate must have a desire to strive for success and good attention to detail as well as having good communication skills.

Duration: 12 + months

Role: Assistant Quantity Surveyor

Location:London

Rate: £250 p/d to £350 p/d depending on experience

• Past experience of construction projects
• A good degree in Quantity Surveying

• Able to hold their own and negotiable
