Auditor (RISQS) in Nationwide, United Kingdom
A great opportunity for an Auditor to join us to deliver on-site audits in the supply chain of the rail sector covering a combination of quality, health and safety and environment management systems.
This position is field-based and will require regular travel throughout the UK with the occasional need for overseas travel.
** Applicants must have experience in RISQS Audit **
Key Responsibilities
• Deliver four customer facing days of audit and one report writing day per week
• Deliver audits to the specified levels of quality, time and cost
• Produce high quality audit reports as determined by the audit programme
• Liaise with the internal operations team to ensure the optimum utilisation of time and resources
• Liaise, where necessary, with clients or other interested parties to provide guidance on the content of the scheme
• Contribute to the ongoing development of the scheme
• Undergo annual witnessed audits as part of the AAS quality management procedures
Skills, Experience & Qualifications
Essential:
• Working knowledge of RISQS / Rail industry sector, including an understanding of how contracts and projects are discharged
• A working knowledge of health and safety, environmental and quality management systems
• Exposure to the delivery of audit programmes
• A track record of liaising with clients or experience in a customer service industry
• Full driving licence
• Experience of auditing
• Fully mobile and flexible
• Excellent communication skills
• A team player capable of meeting high customer expectations
• Able to work without supervision
• Good PC skills, including competence in using MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
Preferred:
• A Health and Safety professional qualification such as NEBOSH Certificate or equivalent
• Lead Assessor via examination (preferably IRCA or equivalent)
• Environmental Awareness Certificate provided by a recognised provider such as IEMA, CIEH etc.
• Memberships of relevant professional institutions such as IEMA, IOSH, IIRSM and/or EI
