Introduction
Our client a Professional Security Services company require an experienced Bid Manager to provide expertise in support of a tender for the provision of services to GTR.
Experience of the Rail sector, in particular Train Operating Companies and leading a bid team are a must.

Core Responsibilities:
- Assist the management team by providing expert knowledge of TOC within the Rail industry so that they can submit a well costed bid.
- Ensure that all questions have been answered as fully as possible
- Identify the skills and capabilities required to submit the bid and subsequently fulfil the contract.
- Record, analyse and manage issues, risks, changes and dependencies during the bid
- Guide bid team writers in preparing the technical and cost components of the proposal, including understanding of the task, plan, past performance and personnel.
- Assist to review proposal, draft and final versions for responsiveness, thoroughness, accuracy, staffing, financial considerations, quality and effective design and layout
- Influence and support team members to achieve optimum solutions
Skills/ Qualifications Required:
The successful candidate will have experience of managing significant bids and other submissions to win profitable work.
Successful candidates will have a solid rail background due to the nature of the tender together with the relevant qualifications.
