Reporting to the Telecoms Site Manager, the Cabling Management System Site Manager (SCADA & Telecoms) is responsible for managing the CMS construction works within the appointed section including day-to-day on site CMS issues –inspecting works to ensure compliance, maintain a daily Shift report and register details including all areas of delay and disruption.
The role would suit a Site Manager with demonstrable experience of the installation of trough and setting out using Leica equipment. The successful candidate must hold a valid PTS and OLEC 1 as a minimum.
Principle Accountabilities
- Be aware of programme requirements, long and short term and monitor progress of the CMS works against targets.
- Monitor CMS works to ensure compliance with health, safety and environmental requirements and take action to eliminate the risk of any health, safety and environmental incidents.
- Ensure the CMS works are installed to the AFC design onsite.
- Ensure CMS information (drawing/spec.) issued to each section are received and registered and complete a daily diary.
- Assist the Delivery Manager with duties relating to CMS construction activities as required.
- Liaise with the CMS Integration Manager and input into any CMS meetings as required.
- Assist with inspection tours to ensure that installation are completed to standard and specification. Assist with resolving any site issues that relate to CMS.
