Vital Rail, part of Vital Human Resources Ltd., are currently looking to recruit an experienced Civils Project Engineer / Civils Work Manager for work on current and ongoing projects across the UK.

This is a full-time, staff position which will include, but is not limited to, the following responsibilities:

• Tendering & Delivery of minor, trackside civils projects
  • Such as; Troughing, Civils Bases, UTX, Level Crossings, Walkways and Retaining Walls, Drainage and Earthworks, Cable Route Installations, Trial Holes & Buried Services and Fencing & Site Access.
• Provide and update project documentation and site records
• Ensuring projects are completed safely, on time and on budget
• Technical support for project delivery
• On-site (including works on or near the line) presence

Candidates are expected to meet the following criteria:

• Proven rail civil engineering experience
• Commitment to health and safety as the first priority
• Commercial / budgetary acumen
• Motivational skills including ability to work in large teams
