The Company:

This award-winning contractor based in London, supports Local Authority and Commercial estates within Electrical, Mechanical and Property Services. This role will be supporting their customers in the North and East London areas.

The Candidate:

You will be an experienced gas engineer that has worked on local authority / social housing properties carrying out Service, Maintenance and Breakdowns for gas and heating. You will already be proficient at installations or at least be keen to receive training in this area. You will have at least 12 Months experience within a similar role and thrive on leaving every customer satisfied.

The Role:

As a Commercial Gas Engineer, you will be responsible for carrying out the jobs that are allocated to you quickly and efficiently. Working 8am to 5pm, Monday to Friday, and fulfilling on call once every 6 weeks, which includes nights and weekends, while on call your hours will change to 11am-8pm. When on call you’ll also have the potential to earn more on top of your basic salary! The jobs will all be in within the North London and East London areas, and will be a mix of Breakdowns, Repairs, routine service and maintenance with installations.

The Requirements:

To be considered for this role you must be Gas Safe Registered and hold commercial assessments such as COCN1. Experience of working on social housing is also essential.

Hours: Monday – Friday, 40 hours per week (08:00 – 17:00). You will be expected to work on-call for one week in every six.

Salary: Between £32k to £40k depending on your experience. 24 days annual leave PLUS Bank Holidays. Company Pension
